Father's Day

With the completion of the patio project, we decided to christen the new
patio and we had the family over for a Father's Day BBQ.  We were joined by
my Mom & Dad, Brett's Mom & Dad, Dave & Nomes & Emily & Shawn, and Auntie
Nina was in town for the weekend.  I decided to go with an Asian themed BBQ
and we started off by having marinated short ribs that Nomin brought, a
chopped salad that Jane brought, and I made fried rice and 3 different
kinds of skewers to grill (sweet & sour shrimp, thai peanut chicken, and
teriyaki tuna).  Jane brought some desserts and my mom supplied the
beverages.  It turned out to be such a beautiful day.  We sat on the back
patio and enjoyed ourselves.
Earlier that day, I gave Brett his present (a Dad's rootbeer bottle cap
remover) and we mounted it to the wall in the garage next to the beer
fridge.  That came in handy with the beers that we were drinking at the
BBQ.
It was pretty fun.  Emily played hide-and-go-seek in the backyard and the
babies got attention lavished on them by the grandparents.  Everyone loved
the new patio.  We can't wait to have more people over to enjoy it.
